Role: Damp and Mould Administrator
Location: Teddington
Contract: 3 to 6 months temporary assignment
Salary: Up to £36k per annum.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Damp & Mould Administrator who has worked in the property maintenance sector. An understanding of the causes of damp and mould would be an advantage.
Main Responsibilities
* Contacting tenants by phone and email to book appointments for inspections and repairs.
* Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion.
* Raising purchase orders for materials relating to each job.
* Allocating jobs to subcontractors.
* Continually liaising with trade operatives (subcontractors), tenants, and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone and email regarding updates on repairs.
* For each job completion, checking job notes and photographs to ensure works can be invoiced.
* Review specifications.
* Ensure jobs are reviewed by surveyors for recommendations.
* Ensure that D&M cases are raised, triaged, and updated in line with the organisation's D&M process.
* Assist the Damp and Mould Surveyor and Resident Liaison Officer with management of complex cases whilst updating records.
* Work with and maintain the integrity of suitable operational and data management systems for case management.
Skills / Experience For This Role
* Experience in damp and mould.
* Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent planning and administration skills.
