Finance Business Partner - Energy
Location - Central London
2-3 days a week in the office.
Summary
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in producing and maintaining accurate and comprehensive reporting and analysis to support our global operations. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of financial information, assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities, and supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
Management Information:
* Produce comprehensive financial and commercial information in a timely manner.
* Generate detailed monthly management accounts reports and provide insightful commentary.
* Prepare analysis and comparisons to budgets/forecasts.
* Develop and maintain KPI reporting to evaluate pan-regional performance.
* Coordinate pan-regional activities and initiatives.
* Provide necessary information to support third-party reporting requirements.
Budgets & Forecasts:
* Collaborate with finance team members and internal business partners to ensure accurate project budgets and forecasts are developed and maintained across all portfolio levels.
Statutory Accounts and Audit:
* Assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts for multiple entities.
* Liaise with external auditors as needed.
General Day-to-Day Activities:
* Take a hands-on approach, processing ledger entries as required.
* Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of financial information.
* Prepare monthly accounts packages within agreed deadlines.
* Collaborate with other members of the wider finance team.
* Assist in ongoing change management initiatives.
