We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a major Passivhaus Capital project in Enniskillen - the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Leadership: Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting collaboration and maintaining high morale. Compliance: Ensure all construction work adheres to Passivhaus principles and complies with building regulations, health & safety requirements, and environmental standards. Programme Management: Oversee and coordinate the construction programme, mitigating risks and addressing challenges proactively. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, and the community. Record-Keeping and IT: Maintain rigorous records to meet Passivhaus standards, ensuring precise documentation of all processes and activities. Strong IT and paperwork management skills are critical for this role to ensure compliance and seamless collaboration. Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges, ensuring smooth progress throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting: Provide accurate and timely progress updates to senior management and clients. Site Quality and Safety: Uphold rigorous quality control processes and maintain high safety standards on-site at all times. Requirements Essential Criteria: Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale projects (£50M). Strong knowledge of Passivhaus principles and energy-efficient construction practices. Comprehensive understanding of construction health & safety regulations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to effectively manage budgets and programmes. Full proficiency with IT systems, including project management software. Desirable Criteria: Experience delivering public-sector projects. Knowledge of advanced sustainable construction techniques. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent. Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIOB). Why Join Us?
