Description
We are looking for a talented Management Accountant to join our excellent Finance Team here at the London Legacy Development Corporation. Focusing on supporting the delivery of the Corporation’s ambitious capital strategy, this is an exciting time to join the team in helping shape the future of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the ongoing regeneration of East London.
The role will involve working with colleagues both in Finance and the Development directorate to ensure project related income and expenditure is properly monitored and reported. You will also help to ensure that robust financial monitoring processes and controls are maintained and will be proactive in identifying, reporting and helping to resolve issues and risks. You will be well versed in annual budget setting and closedown processes and have a desire to learn, develop and progress your career.
Is it for you?
You will have experience of working in a finance team/department. You will have strong analytical skills, good attention to detail and be able to demonstrate how you can take the initiative to solve complex issues. You will also have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team to deliver high standard pieces of work under pressure, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders in the business. You will bring your lived experience and understanding of the communities we serve, to ensure that public funds are utilised responsibly. We’d like you to have experience of working on large-scale projects, but this is desirable only.
Given the nature of the work involved, a professional relevant financial qualification / part qualification is preferred but not essential.

* The salary for this post is £47,321 per annum LLDC operates a performance-based incremental pay scale.
* The probationary period for this post is for three months. Upon successful completion of the probation period, confirmation of employment will be given and the notice period will be one month.
* This is proposed as a full-time post working 37 hours per week, although this post will be considered for flexible working.
