This is a technical, hands-on role focusing on vessel electrical systems rather than management.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nLeading the Electrical Design Change Request (DCR) process for all vessels.\n\nEnsuring high standards of quality and consistency across electrical design projects.\n\nWorking closely with electrical designers, production managers, and external suppliers to drive successful project outcomes.\n\nProducing precise electrical schematics, panel drawings (AutoCAD), and cable running schedules.\n\nApplying your understanding of manufacturing processes and installation requirements to enhance project efficiency.\n\nAttending key meetings to stay up-to-date with contract variations and production feedback.\n\nManaging resources within the electrical design team.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nKnowledge & Experience:\n\nExpertise in marine AC and DC electrical systems, materials, and techniques.\n\nFamiliarity with yacht systems, component placement, and installation.\n\nUnderstanding of electrical installation processes for small craft production.\n\nExperience with marine digital switching systems (e.g., CZone) is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of marine lighting systems and system integration is desirable.\n\nExposure to marine electrical and hybrid drive systems is advantageous.\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).\n\n * \n\n Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.\n\n * \n\n Excellent time management and organisational skills.\n\n * \n\n Relevant design-related degree/qualification or equivalent electrical design experience.\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.\n\n * \n\n BMEA Marine Electrical Technician qualification (desirable).\n\nWho You Are:\n\nDetail-oriented and committed to high-quality work.\n\nProfessional, honest, and solutions-focused.\n\nA collaborative team player with a positive attitude.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\n * Ability to travel for business when required.\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to take your electrical design career to the next level with a company that values your expertise.
