Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join the team at an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school located in Denton, Greater Manchester. This is a full-time position starting in September, covering a long-term absence with the potential for extension or a permanent contract.

The Role Includes:
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Preparing pupils for their GCSE English Language and Literature examinations.
* Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Tracking student progress and contributing to department assessments.
* Participating in whole-school and departmental CPD and development initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in English or a related field.
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
* A strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
* Passionate about inspiring students to develop a love for English.
* Committed to promoting high standards and raising achievement.
