Insite is a UK-owned and headquartered SaaS (software-as-a-service) business. Focused on the construction technology segment, Insite provides site operations software for construction contractors.
The Insite team consists of three founders, who started the business 5 years ago with a clear mission: to empower construction teams with innovative digital tools that transform the way projects are managed, by replacing outdated, manual processes with simple, effective solutions that make daily site operations faster, easier, and more productive.
Insite software is used by thousands of contractors across the UK, USA, South Africa, Australia and the Middle East helping them with their site operations processes such as quality control, forms, document storage, H&S inspections, progress reporting and handovers.
Having achieved significant and consistent growth, we are now looking to hire our first Account Executive to drive the sales effort in the UK&I market.
The role
We are looking for a full-time Account Executive to help us grow our presence in our key target segments of the UK&I construction market, focused on selling our SaaS solution to main contractors and subcontractors.
This is the first sales role we have hired and we are looking for someone who is up for the challenge of being a critical part of a growing business and helping shape our future.
The candidate is someone who has experience operating as a 360 salesperson, with the ability to follow up and close leads that are generated from our marketing engine, alongside identifying and closing their own opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
1. Prospect, engage and close commercial sales opportunities with subcontractors and main contractors.
2. Research and identify new prospects that fit Insite’s ICP (ideal customer profile) and IDP (ideal deal profile).
3. Follow up and manage leads through the sales pipeline from qualification to close.
4. Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle within the CRM.
5. Building solid proposals that are explicit and value-driven.
6. Work closely with and be part of the team, who have responsibility for product, marketing, customer success and engineering/development.
7. Provide ongoing feedback received from the market and customers on the product to help drive innovation and development.
8. Be a critical part of the team and business now and into the future.
What you'll bring:
1. 2 - 3 years of SaaS sales experience, closing business as an Account Executive.
2. Experience selling SaaS solutions with a value from £2k - £15k ARR.
3. A clear communicator with an eye on the end goal, always putting the client first.
4. History of successful lead generation and managing a 360 sales cycle.
5. Ability and experience demonstrating a software solution and presenting to customers.
6. Grit, hunger and desire, not relying on anyone or anything to drive your success.
7. A hunter attitude, constantly focused on meeting and exceeding your targets.
8. A team player with the desire to be part of a crucial aspect of a small, high-growth business.
Nice to have but not essential:
1. Construction technology experience.
2. Experience using MEDDICC / MEDDPICC.
