Sports Coach Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Blackburn (BB2), as they are looking to hire a sports coach to further engage and develop their pupil’s enjoyment of physical activity and development. The role As a sports coach you will need to have a relevant sport qualification, and experience working with pupils aged between 11-16 years. The school has small class sizes varying between to 6-10 pupils per class. You will be required to work on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:20 pm. Within this role, there may be elements of general classroom support on your timetable. The school has a focus on building meaningful relationships with all pupils to create a respectful and safe environment for all, this means you will need to be able to form these relationships easily with both staff and pupils, engaging in all activities as a part of school life. The school This is an alternative Provision in the Blackburn area. The school caters for Secondary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties.
