Job Summary
The Registered Manager will lead and manage the children's residential home, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting the well-being of the children.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
2. Lead and participate in inspections, implementing improvements as needed.
3. Provide strong leadership and foster a positive work environment.
4. Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development.
5. Conduct regular staff meetings and supervision.
6. Ensure high standards of care, support, and protection for children.
7. Develop and implement individual care plans.
8. Monitor and evaluate care quality.
9. Conduct internal audits and assessments.
10. Maintain effective communication with external agencies and stakeholders.
11. Build positive relationships with local authorities and social workers.
12. Manage the budget efficiently.
13. Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
2. Significant experience in a management role within residential childcare.
3. Proven success in Ofsted inspections and compliance.
4. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
