The Role of the Clinical Nurse Advisor
1. Provide education and training on a portfolio of Respiratory, Wound Care, IV therapy, and Continence products across primary and secondary care customers.
2. Support both the sales team and customers with up-to-date clinical information relating to their product range, market, and therapy area in general.
3. Perform clinical presentations to primary and secondary care personnel.
4. Organise and provide training to both internal staff and external customers.
5. Oversee clinical evaluations within customer environments.
6. Liaise on a clinical basis with prospective and existing customers to monitor clinical satisfaction.
7. Co-ordinate product education and follow-up.
8. Develop an in-depth understanding of the product line through maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical studies/abstracts.
9. Provide the necessary support to enable successful pre/post-sale demonstrations and evaluations of the product range.
10. Share best practices and appropriate market intelligence with team colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
11. Develop good clinical and business relationships with Regional Key Opinion leaders.
12. Attendance at exhibitions and conferences.
Region covers West Midlands, East Midlands, and parts of East Anglia.

The Ideal Person for the Clinical Nurse Advisor
1. Must have recent or current nursing background, ideally with current PIN but not essential.
2. Needs to have good exposure to either Wound Care, Respiratory, or IV Therapy.
3. Doesn’t need to be a specialist nurse or have specific qualifications but must be confident and capable of writing and presenting clinical presentations.
4. Business/commercial experience is preferred but not essential.
5. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
6. Commercially focused, with the ability to identify opportunities and proactively deliver results.
7. Exceptional listening skills, strong presentation, and communication skills.
8. Effective time management skills, administrative capabilities, and effective written communication capabilities.
9. Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
