Superior Healthcare is looking to recruit a team of Care Assistants and Support Workers to care for a young client with complex needs, living in their loving family home in Benfleet.
Our Client
Our client is a happy, cheeky, and playful individual. He has epilepsy and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which has led to developmental delays and learning disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Support Worker, specifically in supporting individuals with behavioural needs, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and non-verbal communication.
Candidates must be confident and fluent in English. Our client leads an active and full life with a busy social calendar and loves accessing the community. They have a vehicle for their regular outings, so candidates must be drivers.
Shift availability
This will be a 0-hour contract however, we currently have several day and wake-night shifts available from Wednesday to Sunday.
Day shifts start at 08:00 am and finish at 20:00pm, and a wake night shift will begin at 20:00 and finish at 08:00 am.
All shifts are 2:1.

Requirements:
A full manual, clean UK driver’s licence is required as the client-adapted vehicle will need driving.
6 months of paid UK-based care experience.
Previous experience working as a Support Worker with complex care clients.
Flexibility to offer availability at short notice, including weekend shifts.
