The North Wales Corporate Joint Committee is a partnership comprising of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flint, Gwynedd, Môn and Wrexham local authorities, in addition to the Eryri National Park Authority, and it has an ambitious vision for the region in terms of strategic development, transport strategies, and promoting the economic well-being of the region in general. The Joint Committee is starting a new chapter, in that on the 1st of April it was established as a corporate entity and employer. To support the Joint Committee in realising its vision, we are looking to recruit a Chief Executive that will be able to collaborate closely with political leaders and others to further develop the partnership. The Chief Executive will be responsible for developing, steering, and delivering on a programme of strategies that will have a long-term impact on the region for generations to come. The individual appointed will be an experienced and innovative leader, having effective communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex and varied relationships. The successful candidate will have a track record of working at the highest level and will be able to refer to success in developing teams and an organisational culture that thrives on delivering complicated work programmes.
