My client, a prominent real estate investment firm, seeks an investment analyst with (ideally) 1 to 2 years' relevant experience for its London office.
The firm has an entrepreneurial approach to launching strategies and investing in transactions. The successful candidate will be joining the firm at a particularly exciting stage of growth.
The following responsibilities are a 'taster' of the day-to-day tasks of the role:
* Transaction screening, due diligence and compiling term sheets.
* Underwriting and modelling of transactions, and preparation of memos, presentations and other investor materials.
* Assisting in financing of deals to the extent leverage forms part of the strategy.
* Management of transaction pipeline.
* Assisting in the negotiation process for acquisitions and disposals.
The successful candidate will be compensated through salary (up to a maximum of £60,000) and performance-related bonus.
Candidate requirements:
* Degree from a leading university (ideally a maths, science, engineering or economics degree).
* Excellent academic record prior to university.
* 1 to 2 years' experience in investment banking (M&A), management consulting, corporate finance, real estate finance (debt fund), principal investment or private equity.
* Transaction experience in one capacity or another is a pre-requisite.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
My client does not offer visa sponsorship, so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to work in the UK unrestricted (i.e. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future).
