As a Principal Digital Analyst, you will work alongside an award-winning team of geospatial experts driving digital change across Stantec and our clients. You’d be working in a customer and user-focused team, pushing new ways of working across digital, whilst incorporating technology and data into all our services and solutions. In the role of Principal Digital Analyst, you will take the lead on delivery of innovative solutions for both our internal teams and external clients operating in sectors including water, wastewater and energy. UKWater About you To be successful in this role you will most likely be an experienced GIS Analyst, Geospatial Data Engineer/Analyst or similar; with good knowledge of geospatial concepts (spatial joining and analysis, geoprocessing and feature manipulation, data formats and suitability) and data processing techniques (e.g. data cleansing, quality assessments, information management and governance, multi criteria analysis), software and tools (e.g. ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Flow, Python, API, PowerBI, PowerApps). You will be knowledgeable around software development techniques and best practice and be able to demonstrate an innovate and inquisitive approach to your work. As a Principal Analyst you will provide technical leadership on our projects, and you should have experience of providing technical coaching or mentoring. Due to the nature of this role any prior experience of sectors including Water or Energy would be beneficial. What you’ll need: Be enthusiastic and experiences in GIS/geospatial/digital project execution, possessing adept management abilities in budgeting, resourcing and leading teams. Demonstrated proficiency in communication, pro-active interactions with external and internal clients, framework managers, evidenced by a prior role in the field. To have advanced technical expertise in ESRI products and good comprehension of other solutions like FME and/or programming languages. To have curious mindset and want to challenge the conventional way of project delivery and foster new ideas. To contribute to digital team culture & strategy. The successful candidate will grow, manage and support the GIS sub-team and wider Digital Service team with leading digital innovations. They will help drive digital transformation and leverage digital data, to improve efficiency, processes and communication.
