Role Overview:
Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact on young lives? ABC Teachers is currently hiring for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Telford. Starting in January 2025, this role offers an opportunity to work closely with primary-aged students with moderate learning needs, helping them to grow, learn, and achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailoring assistance to meet individual needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive relationships.
Commit to a long-term, full-time role, becoming an integral part of the school community.

This Telford-based school specialises in supporting primary students with moderate learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and similar conditions.

Candidate Requirements:
Strong behavior management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Prior experience working with children or young people with moderate educational needs.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with and support students.
Ability to provide valid references and pass a DBS check.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
