ABC Teachers are looking for Nursery Nurse to support in one of our partneered nurseries in Tamworth.
As a Nursery Teaching Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursery team in the daily care and education of our children.
The children you will be working with will range from babies to 5 years of age and the hours will be 8:30 - 15:30, 5 days a week.
The role is a permanent role, looking to start immediatly. Due to the ratios in the nursery you will be required to hold a Level 3 in childcare.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the planning and implementation of activities that promote the development of children.
Supporting the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Helping with the preparation and maintenance of learning materials and resources.
Ensuring the nursery’s policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Assisting with the personal care of children, including toileting, feeding, and dressing.
Observing and recording children's progress and communicating this to the lead teacher.
Participating in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them to thrive.
Previous experience in a similar role or a desire to start a career in early childhood education.
A relevant level 3 childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE 3) is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, creativity, and a caring nature.
Have or be willing to obtain a DBS on the update service.
