The pub and location
The White Horse is a charming village pub, that benefits from both external dining and dining at the front and at the rear, in the large beer garden, complete with outside bar and barbecue area.
Youll find the White Horse close to the centre of Welwyn, 2 mins drive from the Jct 6 A1. 20mins from St Albans to the south. Welwyn benefits from both locals and visitors to this picturesque village.
The heart of the pub is the traditional country bar with scrub-topped tables and flagstone floors with a warm cosy snug and an open fire. Towards the rear garden is a relaxing dining room for thirty covers. The kitchen is located on the ground floor behind the bar, with easy access to pub and garden, food is a significant element of the business, making it the heartbeat of the pub.
The outside space is a huge business asset! There are 80 covers on the front patio area. The rear garden benefits from over 100 covers on Astro turfed area, with both covered huts and stretch tent used in winter months. An external Barn has been converted into external bar with draught beer and full range of chilled beers and wine. There is an impressive barbecue area, located close to the pub kitchen that provides a perfect food offer for those long summer evenings.

There is purpose built 1 bedroom publican flat with private bathroom and living room/diner. Additional accommodation is available for up to 3 live in staff. These additional 3 rooms could be used by the publican.
