This role will primarily be based at our Staverton site, with occasional travel to support our other sites in Bishops Cleeve & Tewksbury. Job Purpose: We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to provide support to the IT department, assisting with administrative tasks, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling technical documentation. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, administrative skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: IT Administration: Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, including inventory of hardware and software. Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems. Handle routine IT requests and escalate issues to senior IT staff as needed. Assist with the procurement and setup of new hardware and software. Support the IT Leadership in various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and user accounts. Generate reports on IT activities, including support requests and system performance. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and data analysis for IT meetings. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers. Coordinate IT-related purchases, including equipment and software. Assist in contract management and renewals with IT vendors. Communication: Serve as a point of contact between the IT department and other departments. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Handle confidential information with discretion. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or IT support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with IT systems, software, and hardware. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
