Band G 36 Working Hours – 39 Weeks per Year Fixed Term from 01 September 2025 to 20 July 2026 Prenton Primary are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The role will involve delivering interventions, covering classes and teaching classes as PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2 on a full-time basis, starting 1st September 2025 As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the school, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the pupils' learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the HLTA qualification or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain invaluable experience across both KS1 and KS2. The desired person will have: Experience of working with primary school aged children Have a HLTA qualification or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong behaviour management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
