About usAbbey Farm Educate Together is a new free school that opened to reception class and pre-school pupils in September 2022, in a brand-new building, delivered by the DfE Free School’s Team. The school will eventually serve 420 pupils, plus pre-school and will act as a community hub for residents of the new Abbey Farm development. We are part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Bath, Keynsham and Weston-Super-Mare. Abbey Farm Educate Together is looking for an experienced LSA to join our small, hardworking team delivering classroom learning support that includes group/1:1 interventions in classes in EYFS and Key stage 1. The purpose of the role within the classroom is to provide high quality learning support to individual and groups of children in order to meet a range of learning and behaviour needs. The role involves interacting with the children, within their play, to move their learning on. Our children are welcome to go outside at any point in the day and this is where valuable interactions between child and adult can take place. The remaining two mornings will be supporting individual children across EYFS/KS1. Ideally you will have Autism/SEND experience and relevant training.The hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-12:00 ( 17.5 hours per week) The salary starts at NJC05 which is currently £24,790 pro rata.
