Our client, a sustainable and people centric multinational company and global leader in the chemical sector, is currently looking for an HSE&S Manager for their strategical site based in Felling (UK). Open for people willing to relocate.
HSE&S Manager – The Role
1. Set safety culture & proactively manage risk & hazards.
2. Support management & colleagues to develop & ensure implementation of HSE policies.
3. Drive the site’s generic HSE activities & initiatives.
4. Provide practical & valuable advice to the line colleagues of HSE&S issues.
5. Identify & implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Coach colleagues to build knowledge of HSE processes.
7. Manage & develop direct reports.
8. Contribute to the development & implementation of the Site Improvement Plans.
9. Oversee compliance with company & legal requirements.
10. Contribute to the HSE strategy.
HSE&S Manager – About You
1. Bachelor or masters level qualification in HSE, engineering or related specialism.
2. Experience of working in a similar HSE management role, in the chemical sector.
3. Familiar with management systems such as ISO 14001 or equivalent.
4. Comfortable Identifying & recommending improved practices to reduce accidents.
5. Proficient user of MS Office.
6. Excellent communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills.
7. Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
8. Used to coaching and mentoring others.
9. Good at influencing at all levels and nurturing relationships.
