The role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with JMC Aviation offers a unique opportunity to join a leading MRO company.
Based in Newquay, the successful candidate will work on a 5/5/4 shift pattern, from 07:00 to 19:00, and enjoy a Permanent Position.

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of our company approvals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Agreeing targets and milestones with the Check Manager.
* Management of a defined 'zone' of work to deliver the maintenance task to schedule.
* Utilisation of resources to achieve schedule.
* Certifying specific aircraft types on their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document.
* Co-ordination of all staff within their work area.
* Allocation of tasks and responsibility within their work area.
* Monitor performance against plan, provide regular briefings, guidance and support to allocated staff as necessary to deliver the plan.
* Work with Check Manager and B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers to identify impending problems and generate solutions.
* Provide updates to Check Manager on any issues impacting their work plan to targets, proposed solutions, next steps within their plan and future work allocation.
We require:
* A Part 66 Licence B1 Licence with a type rating.
* Base maintenance experience.
* Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field.
* Extensive experience as an Aircraft Engineer.
* Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal & supervisory skills.
* Full UK Driving licence Essential.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
