Nano Fibre UK has an exciting opportunity available for a Stock Administrator to be based in our Bradford office. This is a very diverse and fast paced role, no two days are alike.
We are a fast growing company who are committed to offering the best service to our customers from our fibre broadband engineers in the region. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to take ownership of the stock ordering process within the Logistics team here.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a fast paced role and working both alone and part of a team. If you are customer focused and have experience working with stock ordering this could be the role for you.
* Assist in the purchase of products from approved suppliers.
* Creating new purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure full and timely delivery.
* Dealing with product and delivery queries and discrepancies.
* Raising supplier claims and chasing credits to completion.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and work toward minimising out of stock or overstock situations.
* Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to address and resolve stock-related issues promptly and accurately.
* Updating stock system with Supplier Cost data.
* Working with warehouse to manage and control stock levels.
* Working to maintain accurate warehouse stock records.
* Frequent and regular phone & email contact with suppliers.
* Provide support to other members of the team.
* To support other departments within the business as required.
Person Specification:-
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident in using other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Confident using other I.T. applications. Xero experience would be preferred.
* Analytical experience within a similar role would be preferred.
* Previous experience in a purchasing or stock control department would also be preferred but not essential.
* Ability to assess and prioritise workload independently.
* Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* A positive and willing attitude towards work.
* Good time keeping and time management.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work pro-actively, independently as well as part of a team
