Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves heavy lifting, materials handling, and maintaining the quality of stock while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required.
Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control.
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods.
Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of products.
Engage in picking and packing orders for dispatch.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when necessary.
Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock locations.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety.Skills
Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and materials handling practices.
Overhead crane experience *
Side Loader experience *
Experience in steel saws*
Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Familiarity with quality control procedures.
Ability to load and unload goods effectively.
Competence in picking and packing orders accurately.
Forklift operation skills are preferred; certification is a plus.
