The Role Global Operations Punctuality Delivery Manager An integral part of the Punctuality Team embedded into the Integrated Operations Control Centre. This role will identify opportunities and drive improvement to the on-the-day performance. Tracking and documenting performance drivers and opportunities, through operational insight, data analysis and reporting. This role is a shift role based in the IOC at WTS. What You’ll Do Support the delivery of punctuality improvement strategy for the BA Global Operation Provide updates on performance throughout the day Working closely with the IOC teams to highlight opportunities to improve on the day performance turning these opportunities into tangible change initiatives Support delivery of punctuality initiatives (e.g Firstwave) Complete on the day analysis into problem areas and support new initiatives to mitigate reoccurring issues and trends Has overall accountability for delay allocation change requests post event from all areas of the business On the day analysis of operational challenges relating to performance to ensure that senior stakeholders have an accurate view Summarise trends and performance opportunities on the day of operation Provide operational overview and analysis both in the moment and retrospectively Identify causal factors in the operational performance and makes suggestions for improvements where appropriate, or for further investigation What You’ll Bring To British Airways Understand and interpret complex, unstructured and conflicting data and convert to actionable insights for senior leaders Prioritise activity through strong planning and organisations skills Problem solver continuously striving to find ways to do things better Excellent resilience and can cope well with pressure Strong communication and project management experience with the ability to promote the need for change as well as deliver change Strong planning, organisation, numeracy and analytical skills Problem-solving – thrive working in ambiguity, evaluating complex problems, finding effective solutions, presenting results, and making decisions in a clear and informative manner.
