Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of cost estimates and tenders for construction projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine cost structures. Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Develop value engineering solutions to optimize project costs. Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to refine bid proposals. Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each project. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, material costs, and labour rates. Support contract negotiations and pre-construction planning. The Ideal Person: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and pricing strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
