Job title: Test Engineer Job Type: Contract Start date: ASAP/Subject to Clearance Salary Range: Competitive rates DOE Location: Hybrid, Teddington (Southwest London) Hours of work: Full-time (up to 40 hours per week) Role & Responsibilities: Planning, developing and managing test environments. Document a suitable test strategy, capable of ensuring programme requirements are met. Ensure commonality and sharing of best practice across subsystems; ensure efficiency in planning the use of shared data & equipment. Develop processes and procedures. Ensure the process is captured, updated and reviewed in-line with current programme procedures. Support the technical team's development by promoting skill enhancement and knowledge growth within the testing discipline. Hardware and Software IVVQ Process. Responsible for implementing and coordinating the integration and verification process with subsystem owners and project managers. Manage all test activity, which would include providing a consolidated view of the test progress across all workstreams and future proofing testing plans as the programme matures. Qualifications/Experience Required: Must be able to demonstrate at least 5 year's experience of programme level test management. Experience of systems integration testing on medium to large scale projects. Have experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a multi disciplined teams. Knowledge of complexed technical environments, preferably from a software and network perspective. The correct candidate would need to qualify for security clearance.
