The Council has an great opportunity for someone seeking to complete their level 6/7 Chartered Surveying Apprenticeship including a RICS accredited undergraduate, PGDip or Master’s degree whilst working within the Property Team. We are looking for a highly motivated person who wants to provide excellent services to our commercial and community tenants.
You should be committed to studying alongside your work to gain chartered status; RICS (MRICS) status. You will be involved in the management of the Council’s commercial and community property portfolio, providing day to day management with a wide variety of activities including leases, licences, disposals and asset valuations.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with our customers. The Council has a range of properties within the commercial and community portfolios, this gives team members a varied caseload from land access, community centre leases through to commercial industrial and retail units.
Requirements
Knowledge of property management services and legislation.
Working towards or obtained a relevant degree or relevant professional qualification in Estates or Property Management
Knowledge of property management statutory and legal responsibilities.
Working towards becoming or being a registered Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
