We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Assessor to support our team, covering the Northamptonshire/Bedford area.. Part of this role will include ensuring that our team is trained to give customers the service and quality they deserve. We are always looking for talented and ambitious people who want to make a real difference, develop themselves, and who enjoy working in a great team. Your main aim will be to manage quality standards and compliance within the Superdrug & Savers Apprenticeship Programme.
Role Purpose:
Supporting the wider People team to deliver the People Strategy, the apprenticeship assessor will support our apprentices throughout their journey at Superdrug/Savers. A field based role which is fundamental in developing our apprentices to thrive in our stores and delight our customers. This role reports to the Apprenticeship Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring learners receive quality support and guidance resulting in the achievement of their qualification in a timely manner
Ensuring all quality and performance standards exceed audit requirements
Build effective working relationships with internal and external customers
Share best practice and learnings with peers and full Apprenticeship team
Comply with assessment strategy by award
Attend Apprenticeship/standardisation Team meetings as required
Attend monthly one to one meetings with line Manager

What you’ll need to succeed:
Essential
Experience of working in a Retail environment
Grade C or above in English, Maths or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills
Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
UK current valid driving licence
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail in all areas of work
Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver against tight deadlines
Exemplary relationship builder, strong communication/interpersonal/influencing skills
A high level of personal drive, multi tasking, presence and credibility
Able to demonstrate a proactive, confident and resilient approach
Able to develop and motivate others
Desirable
Assessor Award or equivalent
Personal Development
Conduct CPD as appropriate and provide evidence in CPD Log
Ensure CPD is up to date to include Functional Skills
Network externally
