Site Manager - Fit-Out - Taunton - Office-to-Residential
Are you a site manager or working foreman with experience of fitting out apartments, or managing the fit out of commercial-to-residential projects?
We are currently recruiting for the role of site manager/working foreman to work on behalf of a developer who has secured planning permission to convert a former office block into 17 apartments. The project starts the first week in November and the site manager will be required for at least 5 months.
Site Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of site operatives
2. Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
3. Ordering materials
4. Updating a site diary
5. Reporting to a visiting project manager
Site Manager Requirements & Certificates:
1. Joinery background
2. Experience of fitting out apartments/commercial-to-residential projects
3. Local to Taunton, or can realistically commute to the site
4. Prepared to provide references
5. SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness
