An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Beatson clinical trials.
The Beatson Clinical Research Facility is an NHS facility which supports cancer clinical research across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and the study portfolio includes early phase/ translational, first in human and phase I-III experimental and advanced therapy studies across a wide range of adult solid and haematological malignancies.
These posts are part of the research nursing infrastructure supporting cancer research and will have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care within the current research teams.
We are looking for an experienced RGN with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience, 2 of which should be in the cancer setting with experience of SACT delivery. Evidence of appropriate post-registration qualification/relevant experience in cancer is essential. Attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, good IT skills and a methodical approach are key requirements, along with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The post holder will be based at the Beatson site as part of the late phase nursing team. Working 37 hours Mon-Friday 9-5 Mon-Thurs, 9-4:30 Friday This is a 2 year fixed term post with renewable option.
