About the role:
We have a vacancy for a Mower Operator in the Southland District. Responsibilities include ride on mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant, and some basic gardening / weed spraying.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
* Ideally would have experience on ride on mowers or machinery in a contract environment.
* Wheels endorsement would be advantageous, but training can be provided for successful applicant.
* Experience with weed trimmers and other small plant.
* Basic mechanical knowledge.
* Dedication to complete every job to a high standard as per contract requirements.
* Constantly focused on safety and courteous to the general public.
* A strong work ethic and can be relied upon to deliver outcomes unsupervised.
* Flexibility with hours to meet operational requirements.
* Able to plan and prioritise to achieve planned outcomes.
* Able to work well with others, contribute to the wider team goals, and can communicate effectively.
