About The Role As a Fire and Security Estimator, you’ll play a key role in driving our business forward by providing accurate and detailed quotes for a wide range of fire and security services, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and more. You’ll be the go-to expert for clients, providing technical advice, handling enquiries, and ensuring smooth project coordination from start to finish. With a strong background in fire and security systems or a similar industry and excellent communication skills, you’ll be at the heart of delivering the best possible solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare Quotes: Generate detailed, accurate quotes for fire and security services, ensuring all client requirements are met and specifications are correct. Self-Manage: Take ownership of your own pipeline of quotes, following up and liaising with customers to keep projects on track. Client Communication: Be the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and guiding them through the quoting and installation process. Project Coordination: Work closely with Engineers, operations, and account management teams to ensure that all parts and designs are specified correctly for each project. Documentation: Keep meticulous records of quotes, designs, and client communications using our CRM system. Continuous Improvement: Stay on top of the latest trends and advancements in the fire and security industry to ensure we’re always offering the best solutions to our clients. What We Are Looking For Experience : Proven experience in fire and security design, quoting, or related roles. Knowledge : A strong understanding of fire safety and security systems (or similar industries like electrical or mechanical). Skills : Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Independence : Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Tech-savvy : Proficiency in design software and CRM systems.
