Job Description
1. Coordinate and manage the fleet's administrative tasks efficiently.
2. Ensure all vehicle documentation is accurate and up to date.
3. Liaise with external maintenance providers for vehicle servicing and repairs.
4. Monitor fleet usage and maintain records for analysis and reporting.
5. Support the Transport & Distribution department in achieving operational targets.
6. Coordinate driver schedules and resolve any arising issues.
7. Ensure compliance with transport policies, legislation and procedures.
8. Assist in the development of operational procedures for fleet management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Fleet Administrator should have:
1. A good educational background, preferably in Logistics or a related field.
2. Experience working in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
3. Strong organisational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with drivers and external providers.
5. Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications.
6. A keen eye for detail, ensuring all records and documents are accurate.
