Our Markets team offer a consultative risk management service to its Business and Corporate Customers in Northern Ireland. This includes managing Foreign Exchange (FX) risk, hedging interest rate risk and fixed term deposit management. As a Senior Dealer within this team, you will assist the Head of Treasury & Markets in driving and developing our Markets business. You will add value for our customers, while playing a strategic role in the acquisition of new-to-bank relationships. What will you do? Strategic management of Money Market Deposits. Provide non-regulated and regulated FX services by interacting directly with customers and also via the Finance centre and branch network. You will be accountable for all FX activity, delivery channels and performance against set targets. Provide of a range of products to enable customers to control the financial impact of market fluctuations in both the immediate and longer term. All sales must be delivered in line with internal sales procedures, regulatory requirements and internal sales standards. Develop and implement strategies for income growth and client acquisition. Drive income from the provision of non-regulated Money Market Deposits, as well as from the provision of non-regulated FX pricing to direct dealing customers of Danske Bank, and through servicing of the retail Branch Network for non-matrix FX rates. Drive income from Interest Rate Risk Management and Currency Options. Identify opportunities in respect of developing and increasing Markets activities and revenues for Danske Bank. Analyse and assess customer specific needs and co-ordinate the Markets Division marketing strategies for further development of the business. Work closely with Corporate and Business Teams in all regions to gain new client business. Work with local and Group colleagues to design and implement appropriate solutions relevant to the local market place. Ensure the effective integration of all Markets products into multi-product sales and marketing culture within Danske Bank, thus significantly increasing ‘share of wallet’. Your skills: Essential Demonstrable experience of working as a Dealer within a Markets environment. Proven track-record in Foreign Exchange and Money Market Sales. Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations and codes of practice in the Financial Services Sector Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Preferred 3rd level business related qualification and or Banking/Certificate How we work Our belief is that we are “ Better when Together ” and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible.
