English Teacher - SEND Experience
Position: Long-term/Permanent | Start Date: Immediate
Protocol Education are currently seeking an experienced English Teacher with SEND or Primary experience to join a specialist school in Thurrock on a long-term/permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an incredible team that primarily supports students with Autism and severe, profound, and complex needs.
While experience or qualifications in special educational needs (SEND) are preferred, they are not essential. What’s most important is your passion for working with SEND students, your friendly, positive approach to teaching, and your ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues alike. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a team of dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach English to students with SEND, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and learning styles
* Develop and implement lesson plans that support student engagement and progress
* Build strong rapport with students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work alongside other professionals to ensure the students receive the best possible support
* Use creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with Autism and complex learning difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
