The mission of the Delegated Authority Service Centre (DASC) is to support the AXA XL UK & Lloyd’s ambition to be the preferred insurer for Delegated Authority business in the London Market.
The Operations and Data Reporting and Analytics Manager will play a key role in significantly influencing and elevating the delegated business operations through the DASC.
As the Delegated Authority Data and Operations Manager at AXA XL UK&L, you will manage and oversee both data-related and operational activities within the delegated authority framework, including data management, insight generation, governance reporting, regulatory reporting, KPI tracking, bordereaux management, loss fund processes, and premium payment tracking.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the data management and operational aspects of delegated authority relationships with underwriters, brokers, and coverholders.
2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of delegated authority transactions, including underwriting, claims, and financial activities.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop efficient processes for data capture, validation, and reporting related to delegated authority activities.
4. Monitor and review delegated authority performance metrics, including underwriting results and claims management.
5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
6. Provide support and training to internal and external stakeholders on data management systems and operational procedures.
7. Prepare regular reports on delegated authority data and operational performance.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
9. Contribute to improving regulatory relationships with a unified approach.
Operational Responsibilities:
1. Bordereaux Management: Transform bordereaux data into a structured format using Watertrace and follow up on queries.
2. Data Quality Analysis: Ongoing analysis of bordereaux data quality.
3. Loss Fund Feedback Loop: Maintain the loss fund feedback loop, including claims data structuring.
4. Account Management: Manage account query resolution processes and assess accounts against credit control guidelines.
Analytics & Data Responsibilities:
1. Data Management: Oversee processes to ensure accurate maintenance of operational and performance data.
2. Operational MI Reporting: Create operational MI to report on metrics and generate conduct risk MI.
3. Stakeholder Reporting: Provide operational analytics and MI to key stakeholders.
4. Data Repository & Dashboard Maintenance: Maintain a central repository of data for portfolio monitoring analytics.
5. Regulatory Reporting Management: Oversee non-financial regulatory reporting activities.
6. Ad Hoc Requests & KPI Tracking: Respond to ad hoc data requests and track KPIs for service pillars.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred and experience in insurance with a focus on data management.
2. Proven experience in data management and handling within an insurance context.
3. Experience managing bordereaux and loss fund processes.
4. Strong understanding of regulatory and governance reporting requirements.
5. Proficiency in data management tools and data visualization software.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
You will report to the UK & Lloyd’s Head of Delegated Authority Service Centre.
