The University of Central Lancashire is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Manager to lead the development of social media across the University, ensuring an informative, exciting and relevant user experience.
This exciting role is positioned within the Marketing department and wider External Relations Service, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the University's digital presence, supporting our marketing goals, and driving the delivery of high-quality content to key audiences.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes and skills:
* Be as passionate about creating engaging social media content as they are about delivering excellent customer service.
* Be a motivated communications professional with proven content marketing experience.
* The role focuses on content creation so we are looking for someone with rich media expertise and excellent writing capabilities.
* Results-orientated with the ability to work to an evidence-based approach in a fast-paced environment.
* An all-round team player who is able to form relationships across the University with excellent communication and people skills.
* Experience of social media management tools, content management systems, digital projects and crisis management is imperative.
* Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field - or relevant work experience over a sustained period.
* Experience of graphic design and video production would be advantageous.
* The autonomy this role provides will allow you creative control over the University's social media channels, therefore it is imperative you are a pro-active self-starter with a high attention to detail.
