We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ABA Therapist who will manage and lead the ABA program for an individual pupil with complex learning difficulties and autism. This role goes beyond traditional tutoring—it involves program management, data analysis, staff training, and being a key liaison with external professionals. This is a full-time, term-time position (8:30–16:00, Monday to Friday) that offers both creative autonomy and a rewarding, hands-on career opportunity. Pay starts at £22,818.99 - this is after it has been rated down for term time only. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Program Management: Oversee and run a tailored ABA program for one individual pupil. Set and update behavioural targets while continuously collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to monitor progress. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the primary contact for external professionals, including parents, social workers, therapists, and teachers. Maintain effective communication, including regular email updates with parents. Meet with senior staff on a weekly basis for program reviews and feedback. Staff Support and Training: Provide training and support for fellow staff working with the pupil. Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with ABA practices. Operational Duties: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high levels of physical engagement. Support pupils with highly challenging behaviours including physical outbursts (e.g., hitting, kicking, biting, hair pulling). Assist with personal hygiene routines and manage situations involving bodily fluids. Adapt quickly and safely from the floor to support young people when required. ________________________________________ Person Specification & Qualifications Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience in the field of ABA, particularly with young people who have complex learning difficulties and autism.
