We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead to design, develop, deploy, and manage integrations between cloud-based and third-party systems. This role requires deep experience in AWS services, event-driven architecture, and data flow automation, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a growing team.
The Integration Lead will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance integrations using AWS technologies such as API Gateway, AppFlow, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and SQS. Knowledge of integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, and Informatica is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Integration Specialists and Configuration Specialists.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
* Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development.
* Design, build, and deploy scalable integration architectures using AWS services.
* Develop and manage RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda (Java).
* Build and optimise AWS Lambda functions using Java or C#.
* Implement event-driven architectures using Amazon EventBridge, SNS, and SQS.
* Ensure integrations align with security, scalability, and performance best practices.
* Lead the integration of third-party SaaS applications (such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.).
* Oversee the configuration and customisation of integration workflows.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of integration components.
* Work closely with architects, data analysts, business analysts, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
* Lead technical discussions on API design, data flow, and integration strategies.
* Oversee the implementation of configuration changes to support business needs.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in system integration, API development, and AWS cloud services.
* Strong experience leading integration teams (line management) and managing technical specialists.
* Experience in AWS API Gateway, Lambda development, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and AppFlow.
* Hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda functions using Java or C#.
* Experience deploying integrations using AWS DevOps tools (such as CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild).
* Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, authentication mechanisms, and security best practices.
* Proficiency in Java, with experience in AWS SDKs for integration.
* Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for integration failures and deployment issues.
* Experience managing monitoring, logging, and debugging AWS integrations using CloudWatch and X-Ray.
