We are seeking a Digital Media Assistant to be responsible for developing the ecommerce site, content creation for blogs, news page, social media along with supporting and implementing SEO strategies to the companies ecommerce store.
Your Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head of Digital in creating awareness and promoting a brand or product by using all available digital channels
* Participate in planning and preparing engaging content aligned with the digital media strategy
* Track advertising projects from start to finish
* Collate and measure digital media analytics against the digital media strategy
* Write high-quality, original, and SEO-friendly content, including category & product pages, social media and the news page. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and stay informed about industry trends. Use this knowledge to create informative and engaging content.
* Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and grammar. Ensure content is free of errors and aligns with our style guidelines.
The key goals for SEO are gaining better rankings in Google, making the site more ‘findable’ to potential customers when searching online, whilst reaching a wider audience and remaining at the forefront in comparison to our competitors.
We will agree goals/KPIs for the site but fundamentally they will revolve around the following.
* Increased Rankings in Google
* Greater volumes of keyword exposure
* Increased Traffic from search engines
* Improved number of sales
* Improved Conversion to sale ratio
* Creative Content Writing
Who are we looking for?
You will already possess a strong understanding of digital media processes and the willingness to learn new skills applicable to your role. You’ll have a creative flair and be confident in using your initiative and communicating professionally with colleagues at all levels within the business.
You must:
* Have a minimum of 2 year experience working within a similar role, content writing, ecommerce, design agency, PR & Communications or seo role.
* Be able to create campaign and digital marketing messages with high impact
* Have the ability to prioritise your workload, adjust timeframes according to changing priorities and provide timely and realistic updates as required.
* Have excellent attention to detail and produce highly accurate work. Including the ability to proof-read and edit copy efficiently this is a critical requirement.
* Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – delivering a professional service in every interaction.
