Luton Sixth Form College was established in 1966 as the first sixth form college in the Country. Invigilator (Part Time, Term Time Only, Hourly Paid)
Hours will be worked as and when required during key exam periods, which are currently November, December, January, February, March, May and June.
You will be responsible for ensuring that external and internal examinations are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and college regulations and policies including:
* To assist with the distribution and collection of exam scripts and materials
* To always supervise and observe candidates and be vigilant and alert throughout exams for the duration of the exam up to 3 hours
* To be calm and reassuring to candidates in exam rooms
We are looking for candidates who have:
* Honesty and integrity, and are able to work with discretion
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team
£13.10 per hour (including holiday and bank holiday pay)
Start Date: 16th December 2024(Compulsory Training Day 9.30am – 4.00pm)
11th February 2025 (Compulsory Training Day 9.30am – 4.00pm)
