The ideal candidates will have experience in all aspects of electrical works, including rewires, testing, and minor works. As part of the team, you will be expected to complete essential electrical tasks, including certification and ensuring the safety and compliance of the properties.\n\nThe role involves working within void properties to ensure that all electrical systems are in proper working condition before the properties are handed back to tenants.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nUndertake and certify electrical works, including rewiring of properties.\n\nConduct electrical testing and provide certification where required.\n\nCarry out minor electrical works, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.\n\nReport back to the office regarding any concerns, issues, and follow-up work needed.\n\nEnsure the safety and risk mitigation for all residents.\n\nMaintain clear and up-to-date records of all work carried out.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience as an Electrician in social housing or similar settings.\n\nAbility to undertake and certify electrical testing, rewiring, and other electrical tasks.\n\nKnowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nValid electrical certification and relevant qualifications.\n\nMust be eligible to work in the UK.\n\nEnhanced DBS check required.\n\nBenefits:\n\nSouthwark Council will provide the necessary tools for the role, including a van, power tools, uniform, PDA, and a lone working device.\n\nHow to Apply:\n If you are interested in applying for this role, please send your CV along with any required documentation, including your Right to Work, National Insurance details, and Proof of Address.\n\nFor further details, please contact Fiona Gayle at \n\nResourcing Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
