We are working with a well-established main contractor with a friendly and supportive team. The office environment is welcoming, collaborative, and flexible, and they're looking for a Junior Office Manager to help keep things running smoothly as they continue to grow.
About the Role:
This is a junior-level position, ideal for someone with some administrative experience who’s looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced but supportive environment. The role will involve a mix of general office administration and occasional support with document control tasks. You’ll be based in the office three days a week, with the option to work from home for the remaining two days.
Key Responsibilities:
* General administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and organising documents
* Managing office supplies and keeping the office space tidy and well-organised
* Assisting with meeting and travel bookings
* Supporting the team with basic document control tasks, such as uploading files, managing document versions, and archiving
* Helping with onboarding processes and general HR admin tasks
* Liaising with suppliers, couriers, and building management
* Providing ad hoc support to project teams and senior staff as required
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in an administrative role (any industry)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* An interest in the construction industry is a bonus, but not essential
