We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a well-established Australia-wide supplier of wear parts and Ground Engaging Tools (GETs), supporting mining clients across the country. This position is based south of the river and will require planned site travel to meet with both new and existing clients each month.
Currently undergoing a major growth phase with ongoing sales support and career progression opportunities, this role will focus on the WA region – specifically the Goldfields and Perth metro areas. Your Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in mining across metro and regional WA, with a focus on building long-term strategic accounts.
2. Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and site visits to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
3. Work closely with internal engineering, sales and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products or services.
4. Track activity and client engagement through CRM tools, reporting on pipeline progress, market insights and client feedback.
5. Proactively plan your week to ensure activity targets are achieved.
Key Requirements:
1. Previous experience with GETs or mining equipment.
2. A solutions-focused sales approach with a strong background in business development and relationship management.
3. Prior experience managing accounts in the Goldfields region is ideal.
4. Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
5. Willingness to travel to meet clients across regional WA and the Perth metro area.
