The role: Reporting to the Projects Director, this role will be responsible for seeking new projects and coordinating bids and tenders. The role will work closely with new and existing clients to gather and understand their needs and requirements for new projects, and work with internal teams to structure proposals which deliver their requirements. Working closely with all internal teams to develop a comprehensive project delivery strategy and working the Commercial Team to ensure proposals and bids are competitive and in line with client budget. The role will also play a key part in seeking new project opportunities and work closely with all departments to finesse delivery of projects, ensuring an outstanding customer experience at all stages. Key responsibilities: Sourcing new project opportunities, including Frameworks in line with BM market strategy. Working with clients to develop a detailed understanding of specific project requirements and desirables. Working with internal teams to structure attractive proposals to win new business Coordinating multiple proposals / bids at any time, ensuring proposals are submitted in a timely manner. Maintaining a detailed understanding of available client procurement routes / framework contracts Ensuring proposals undergo the correct checking and scrutiny before submission. Ensuring all project information is accurately completed, filed and handed over to downstream staff. Ad-hoc involvement in projects during delivery to ensure client requirements are met. Working with all internal teams to finesse project delivery - focussing on delivering an outstanding customer experience. Assisting with project Awards submissions and promotion of the BM brand (including attending and hosting networking events etc) Key skills and experience required: Experience working on award submissions and brand promotion within the construction industry. Comfortable attending and hosting networking events to promote the company. Familiarity with construction project delivery processes and ability to support ongoing projects as needed
