Finance Assistant | £16 - £19 per hour | Interim | Merseyside:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in North Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their team on an interim basis to support the team through a period of change and new system implementation. The role is an office based position and a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and busy finance team.
Duties:
1. Processing high volume of invoices and payment runs
2. Completing supplier statement reconciliations and keeping the ledger up to date
3. Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders regarding invoices and dealing with any issues
4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations across the organisation
5. Correcting/verifying invoices, Filing and maintaining supplier records
Experience:
6. Previous experience in a Finance Assistant position is essential
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
8. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with people outside of the organisation
9. Able and happy to commute into the office 5 days a week
10. Enhanced DBS – processed in the last 12 months
11. Immediately available or on short notice to start next role
