Do you have previous retail experience and a creative eye? As Shop Manager at our highly successful Malton store, you will be responsible for managing all shop activities. This will include: Stock management Cash handling Merchandising Customer service Fully supported by our Head Office Retail team, leading and managing colleagues and volunteers will be integral to your role on a day to day basis. This will also include the recruitment, training and onboarding of volunteers to ensure the shop follows good working practice. In order to fulfil the Shop Manager role, you will also need: Stamina A creative eye Excellent display skills and innovative ideas to boost shop takings Basic administration and PC skills Currently trading Monday to Saturday and selling a mixed offering of clothing and housewares the Malton shop would ideally suit someone with previous charity retail/ retail experience, however we are happy to consider candidates from any background with management experience gained within a customer facing organisation. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7.
