Job Title: Regulatory Accountant Location: London, U.K. Department: Finance Employment Type: Permanent Work Pattern: Full-Time Overview: Due to the increased demand from the PRA and FCA, banks and other financial institutions have to pay close attention to the changes in the regulatory requirements. The increased focus of the quality and accuracy of regulatory reporting along with the increased number of the reports the Bank needs to gain comfort that regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner and in compliance with the required guidelines. What You Will Be Doing: Prepare, monitor and manage the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports and prudential returns for FCA, PRA and Bank of England. Ensure that regulatory requirements are complied with and acted upon as require. Produce daily reports including reporting for liquidity position, cash collateral monitoring, capital adequacy leverage, group solvency, collective impairment provision and financial information for Bank regulators. Prepare and submit regulatory reports to both internal and external stakeholders including FCA and PRA and internal management. Update and communicate key regulatory and financial metrics. Consolidate reports for ALCO pack and assist with BRC and Board reports. Keep up to date with changes to the internal and regulatory requirements for the Bank. Communicate with other teams (Treasury, Finance, Trade Finance, Group IT ect.) to obtain the required details to ensure effective internal and regulatory reporting. Prepare and assist with monthly regulator reports PRA110, LCR and ALMM Have input in to the LE process for internal and external COREP reporting Candidate Specification : • Regulatory requirements (including PRA, FCA) • Banking knowledge • Effective reporting • PQ ACCA (Association of Chartered and Certified Accountant) • Regulatory accountant 4 years’ experience • Good team player with interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and work well under pressure • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize.
