Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Investment Banking VP to join the PUI team in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the execution of complex M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments across the power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities: Transaction Execution: Lead and support all phases of transaction execution, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence coordination, and preparation of client deliverables. Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior management teams and investment stakeholders. Market and Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities within the PUI sector. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment recommendations and valuation assessments. Pitchbook and Presentation Preparation: Create high-quality pitch materials and presentations for client engagements and business development initiatives. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide analysts, providing training and oversight to ensure the delivery of top-quality work. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including other sector specialists and product experts, to provide integrated solutions for clients. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) are a plus. Investment Banking Experience: 6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or a related role, preferably with exposure to the power, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. Technical Expertise: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet). Sector Knowledge: Understanding of trends and key drivers within the PUI sector, including renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Client Relationship Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level clients. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
